Getting Started: Logging in, Creating Your Class, & Adding Students Follow
This article will guide you through the initial setup of your Zorbit's Account; Signing in to your dashboard, Creating your class, and adding your students.
Log in to your Zorbit's Dashboard
There are several ways to access your Zorbit's Dashboard (dashboard.zorbitsmath.com);
- If your board has a web portal for staff to sign in to applications, visit your internal staff portal page and launch Zorbit's from there.
- If you normally use Google Single Sign On (SSO) to log into websites, you can navigate to dashboard.zorbitsmath.com and click on the "Sign On With Google" button.
- You can navigate to dashboard.zorbitsmath.com and enter your email address and password to sign in. Brand new user, you will have received an email inviting you to set up your password. If you can't find that, just click on "Forgot Password?" and you'll be guided to set up a new one.
Create Your Class
Once you sign in to your dashboard, you'll need to create your classroom. If your class already exists, your school board has taken care of this for you! You can skip ahead to the next section!
Click the Create a Class button to create your classroom. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish setting up your classroom.
Once your class is created you'll be taken to your Dashboard Homepage.
Adding Students to your Class
At the top of your homepage, you'll see a tracking bar outlining the steps needed to complete the initial setup of your account. Next, you'll want to add students to your class roster. Click Add Now >
This will bring you to the Roster page, where you can add existing students (from your school) or create new ones. Use the "Add Student From School" button to look for, and add, your students if they are already in the school. Otherwise, create new ones!
Enter your students' info in the First and Last name fields and select the "Green plus button". Please refer to your school or board's privacy policy for student naming conventions. You are welcome to input anything in the First and Last name fields; ie First Name + Last initial, Initials only, student # etc.
Once you have all your students added please select "Enroll Students". Your students are now in your class!
Once your students are enrolled in your class they will have a username and password automatically generated and are ready to start playing!
Getting Students Into The Game
To share login information with your students and their parents or guardians, download or print login cards and/or parent letters. The letters and login cards provide all the required information for accessing the student game.
